The new album of KiD Cudi. Fifteen tracks. I am not going to talk long about it. It's worth downloading and listening to. You may recognize a few songs as they were also on his mixtape. Day N Nite is track 07 followed by another mixtape track 'Sky Might Fall'. Sky might fall is one of my favourite tracks of the mixtape so it isnt bad it is on it. The Blueprint III by Jay-z

It has been ages I know. What I got, that what I actually don't have to mention or talk about. That were you already know about but still it has to be mentioned.
The blue print, the third one, as I already read somewhere, an original new title. The Blue Print III.

Not a bad album actually. Nice featurings including Kanye West and Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Kid Cudi, Drake, Pharrel and Mr. Hudson.

Where Alicia Keys blesses the 5th song of the album with her amazing voice, I found Jay-Z is lacking comparing to her voice in that particular song. Beautiful course.

Further we have the well known D.O.A. track, where T-Pain isn't happy about actually at the moment as far as I know. T-Pain even performed this song on stage with Jay but now he doesnt seem to like it anymore as it seems to be ruining him a bit. Beef? Not really I guess probably a story blowed up by the media.

The songs are all good quality, not really bad ones. A star is born is a nice one. And the one with Kid Cudi is a nice one. Also Off that featuring Drake is a recommendation.

So is the millions of times covered song Young Forever. Now sung by Hudson, he did well on it.

Akon - Freedom

I took a while but here it is. =].
Akon's newest album called Freedom containing 13 tracks plus a bonus track, Ill put the tracklist on bottom of this post. Most or maybe all tracks is about love or anything related to it. Akon is kind of leaving his 'criminal' past behind his in his writings for this album. This can also be seen on a sticker, or better said there is no sticker, saying Parental Advisory. The album is quite nice, but doesnt belong to the top. There are features with Lil Wayne and T-Pain and some other guys, but most of the time you hear Akon singing through your speakers.

Go buy the album, its in stores since 2dec 08.

Santogold already had a song called shove it, in what she was singing brooklyn we go hard. Now she hooks up with roc-a-fella Jay-Z and comes with "Brooklyn (Go Hard)" aka Brooklyn we go hard. Produced by Kanye West.
She dropped her first album in 2008 called Santogold. This is only the beginning. We certainly will hear more from her in the future.

Ludacris - Theater of the mind

His first track Undisputed of his new album he is showed off like a boxer, the champ. He is still in the ring. With his 6th album released on 24th november 2008 it doesnt seem that their is an ending to his album drops. Luda told that every track on the album sounds like a scene from a movie. I didnt experience it that way, and his theatrical theme is not really clear in most of the tracks. The Intro against it is more theater style.
The album contains lots of features (co-starring) with other awesome artists. Ludacris does a track with T.I., one with T-Pain, with The Game, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Lil Wayne, Common and one track with Nas and Jay-z on it. Really great artists, good songs too, you could expect more though from some tracks. But besides that its a pretty nice album.

With lines about money and haters he fills up a track with T.I. Afer that he hooks up with T-Pain, switching the style and subject. And what else it could be that it goes about love, sex and the club with Pain. One more drink, is about the girls in the club that look nice from behind, less up front. Taking one more drink to solve that problem and than going home with the girl.
I'm headed to the club, lookin' for a freak,
To spread a lil' love, to spread a couple cheeks,
Pull up to the spot, 26's like BEAMMM,
Eyes on me like "BITCH, DO YOU SEE EM'"?
Stroll to the front door headed to the VIP,

A nice round butt and a pair of DOUBLE D's,
So, I crept up like SHAWTY WHAT'S HAPPENIN'?,

She had a gap tooth and a mean overbite,
But I was like HMMMMM...

Next track is more gangsta, featuring The Game and Willy Northpole. "Cause I see some nigga staring at us, With a lame frown, I'm a call up the homies, It's about to go down," This is kind of a cool track Call up the homies, its about when the streets get hungry, the streets gon' eat. Some more gangster shit in Southern Gangsta featuring Rick Ross.
Further some other tracks about girls with Chris Brown. Not to forget 'Last of a dying breed' with lil wayne, a nice beat and a nice flow, lyrically no deep content.
And 'I do it for Hip-Hop' with Nas and Jay-z. Three good artists on a track talkin bout they did it for Hip-Hop, not for the money, it came from the heart. Of course they have money and probably they also do it (partically) for the money. Quoting Ludacris:

I don't do it for the cars and the fancy drops I do it for Hip-Hop. Good the know that its not only for the money, besides that I dont care if they do it for the money or not. As long as they stay real and keeps beat pumping and blowing speakers like candles on your bday.
With some swagger, old skool, fancy artists and more this album isnt that bad! Not the album of the year, the public more like 808s & Heartbreak, Im not gonna fill any sentences about which album is the best as this is a totally different style. Dont choose, just listen em both.

A new day, A new post.
Today im taking another direction in my post.
Cause god is above us, well I dont think he is. Maybe it isnt a he actually, maybe it's a she or an it. But okey.. The most standard view of god is, a man.. an old man.. with a beard.. and maybe a stick or something and he is standing on a cloud. If I would ask you to draw god, you'll probably draw something like that.
But if he is above me, right now. And I live in the Netherlands ( what's in Europe, south of the uk). So if he is above me right now, and the world is a cirkel, than he isnt above the people in Australia. Yes, I know im talking a bit dumb shit right now, but who cares, well I dont. ^^
And what if he is on a cloud. That would mean, he is in front of the sun, lowering the temperature. Or he is on a cloud thats making it rain or snow or whatever.
Clouds in the sky arent very popular, people rather have sunny days. That makes most people happy. And god is on a cloud, preventing a sunny day? You could think that. But does it mean when god is on a cloud that he is the cause of the rain etc. Well maybe he is riding the cloud, making it dissapear, for us. And skipping from cloud to cloud removing these clouds out of sight.
Maybe he isnt that bad after all. Or maybe... he is on the clouds because he doesnt want us to catch to many sunlight, what may be better for our health.
Is there even a god?
As I said I am not sure if he is above us. But I think he is your heart. If you believe than you will do most of the time good. And with believe, I mean believe in yourself, believe in you, your heart. And I dont mean go to church or whatever, but if that helps you believe in you, than you should go to the church.
Just like they say there is only one god, and Allah is another word for god, and if I would ask you to draw Allah you would perhaps get sort of the same as the one I mentioned before, but he now could have a black beard or so. God is your heart, God is you, he is what you experience and know and the black beard may come from your experience and knowledge, your culture.

I watched these guys fighting when I was a little boy. And they are still fighting. Last year they launched even their new movie.

The whole album kanye sings, on auto-tune, but I dont have to say that anymore I think. With a 12 tracks at his album I find this album kind of short, but now a days thats getting normal, too bad I always enjoyed 20 tracks on albums. 808s & Heartbreak is a good and new (in two ways) album, but definetly not the best of 2008.
